The growth in the amount of waste in Russia over the past decade has exceeded the growth rate of industrial production. Every year, the country generates more than 3.5 billion tons of waste, which in most cases are either not disposed of, or they simply can not be disposed of and they are sent to incineration or landfill.
Pyrolysis is the thermal decomposition of organic and many inorganic compounds. In a narrow sense, decomposition of organic natural compounds with a lack of oxygen (wood, petroleum products, etc.). In a broader sense-the decomposition of any compounds into components of less heavy molecules, or elements under the influence of temperature increase. As a result of pyrolysis, synthesis gas and solid carbon residues are formed.
The advantages of pyrolysis are that the process is relatively insensitive to the type of raw material. Using this technology, we are able to process unsorted municipal solid waste, sewage sludge, oil residues, paper pulp, mixed plastics, rubber and tires, woodworking waste, hospital waste, etc.
Our mobile pyrolysis plant for processing mixed waste demonstrates excellent performance in controlling emissions of harmful substances, the level of which is much lower than established by the relevant legislation.
The synthesis gas obtained as a result of pyrolysis production can be used to generate electricity, and the semi-coke, in turn, gets a wide range of applications, starting from dust fuel, and ending with all sorts of fillers.
