Biomass is an organic material obtained either directly from plants and animals, or indirectly from industrial, commercial, domestic or agricultural products.
A huge mass of organic materials includes a large number of agro-industrial wastes, i.e. unused natural, industrial and domestic organic waste.
• Agriculture: vegetable crop residues (husk, straw ...).
• Livestock: waste from slaughter, bone dust, dead animals, and poultry droppings.
• Forestry: forest residues, wood processing waste.
• Fishing: cannery waste , bone dust, dead fish.
• Industrial and domestic organic waste: wastewaters, organic waste, food waste, waste paper.
Agro- wastes are a great source of renewable energy. We can get green energy by pyrolysis of biomass.
Processing technology consists of the following operations:
- Drying of waste;
- Thermal decomposition (air-free pyrolysis) of waste;
- Condensation of the gaseous mixture separated into a combustible gas, liquid hydrocarbons and water ;
- Mixing of the liquid hydrocarbons and semicoke to obtain slurry fuel;
- Burning of slurry fuel in the combustion chambers of gas turbine power plants based on aircraft engines to obtain electricpower.
Technological equipment has a block-and-modular design and is housed in a fast-track building not higher than 10m.
The building is equipped with a forced ventilation and a photochemical neutralizer of harmful agents in vent gases.
Manufacturing process is ensured by battery power.
